boys stuff
We have just had lots and lots of new stock arrive and wow does it all look so good. There is so much i want to share but where do i start? This tee by Minti is a No1 favourite instore at the moment and i couldn't pass it up either. With two boys, its going to get heaps of wear ...... though it is white and I'm not good with washing or bibs...but how could i resist it... its so darn cute!

I have succumbed to pink
When I first opened the store, I made a vow never to do any 'traditional pinks just because that was what little girls wear'. Of course i would do the colour, but only if it was in season, if looked fab alongside another colour.. I want girls to have choices, not just different shades of pink.
This new season brings pink..yes its in season. So when I needed to reorder these shoes (in natural and red), I decided to buy pink. It's a cool colour of pink don't you think...i'm calling Raspberry. I actually really love them! You can now buy it here or instore.

65 years with Golden Books
Found this book in Melbourne last weekend and I'm so enjoying it. It's called Golden Legacy - How Golden Books Won Children's Hearts, Changed Publishing Forever, and Became an American Icon along the Way by Leonard S. Marcus.
Have you ever read a Golden Book and wondered when and why it was written? Or drawn to certain titles over the years? Well this books touches on different periods, authors and illustrators...so interesting! I have since realised that I'm drawn to the artist Mary Blair..and a Little H favourite "The Little Fat Policeman" was included in the orientation kit given to every rookie cop on the New York Police Force in 1955.
