little sapling toys... a wonderful little business

Little Sapling Toys, have you heard of them? Nick and Kimber Christensen are the owners of a this divine toy company. Together (with their kiddies) they design, create and package all of their toys from their home...it's a family affair!

The little teething toys are the ideal first toy for babies to grasp and chew. They've handcrafted these teethers with Hard Rock Maple, a non-splintering wood and come packaged in a cotton drawstring bag. ... and for each toy sold, Little sapling toys will plant a tree - pretty fabulous dont you think!

We are now selling the teethers online and instore. awesome hey!

Something for mummy and the little folk

After many months of admiring this brand Apple & Bee, we now have it in!

....... I succumbed after seeing the embroidered wooden handle clutch (for us oldies) and the kids satchel - could it get any better? All Organic cotton, the kids satchel is reversible and can be worn at two heights, it's just the cutest thing! and i don't need to explain my love for that clutch, how gorgeous is it!

....and after about an hour of oohing over all the bags, I just couldn't resist their new totes either ($19.95 and $32.95), I think this may be the Xmas present everyone in my family will get - they have to have one too!

All online ready for Xmas and of course can be seen instore. love it! x

hopitty scotch!

A few months ago I was asked by my very girlie niece to paint her nails... and it got me thinking......  what polishes were out there designed for little ones that wasn't toxic or strong smelling, that was safe if spilled or eaten.. After a surf of skincare blogs and websites I found the well reviewed Hopscotch Kids Watercolours.

Recently featured in Babyology and LMNOP Magazine, these polishes will make any little girl (or big for that matter!) SING!

There are 10 divine colours with supercute names (red rover, ice cream, miss mary mack) and we have all them of now available here! Great for girls sleepovers, holidays and christmas stockings.

new organics by winter water factory

Just in! A delivery of Winter Water Factory, a small US label of mostly organic onesies and tee's. The screenprints are all hand printed and are in simple clean designs. They kinda special aren't they! Being opposite seasons to the US all the tshirts are short sleeve BUT they still look great on their own, with a cardi or a long sleeve tee underneath..
Rrp $35 instore and online

Thank you Home Beautiful Magazine

A BIG Thank you to Home Beautiful Magazine for featuring (in their recent issue) two gorgeous organic tea-towels from our mama's drawer section on the website.

Both are from Lisa Jones, a UK artist, traditionally known for her hand printed cards selling throughout England ( and now Australia) including the dept store Liberty. These tea towels are hand printed, organic cotton, fair trade made.. gotta be happy with that! Here's a better snap of them:

If you love them like we do, click here to get more details.

Cheeky but oh so good! The organic cotton is nice and soft and Tony promises they wear beautifully....not that you would expect anything else!
They are really really cute in the smaller sizes.... and would look great back with the Nature Baby drawstring shorts in natural.
