Handy Dad by Todd Davis has arrived, in perfect time for Fathers Day!
25 projects for dad and kids with materials that can easily be found at home or in a hardware store. Projects vary from fairly easy to a full weekend's worth or work and they are are really cool! I've put a copy away for Mr H as he often reminisces about his childhood tinkering away with his grandad in the shed making things.....

paper scrissors craft

Loving this new book Paper Scissors Glue that just came in. Some projects are very much like the paper crafts on Playschool (that always look easy when your watching them but you can never remember them later on!); a great reference for a quiet day at home with the kids.

The books is designed for 3 to 10 year old's and it would be evenly proportioned for boys and girls. Catherine Woram also wrote another favourite of ours Crafting with Kids ..... Its a goodie!

Arriving instore this week are some new fabric wall stickers from Mae.

Isn't this new colour palette for the tree, critters and oh deer just so right with the moment. The dark wood tree is perfect for a room that combines retro with new.... you will be seeing this one on our wall in the store i think!
