Did you read about the January photo a day on Fatmumslim last month?

Want to join me this month in the February challenge and have some fun on Instagram?

Have a read of her post but basically its super easy. Each day of the month you take a photo on Instagram using the word above as your guide eg. today being the 1st is 'your view' - what are you upto today, take a photo!

Then, share on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr or even your blog. If you're sharing on Instagram or Twitter use the hashtag #FEBphotoaday so everyone can find them. There's a great community around the photo sharing, so do share!

Fatmumslim suggests having a look at the photos at the end of the day, just before bed. A lovely way to see how the world evolves before you close your eyes to sleep.

New Season is on its way!

I'm so excited that new season is on its way. We have had confirmations that Paperwings, Munster, Missie, Minti, Rock your Baby, and Sture and Lisa are all due within the next 2 weeks.. yay!!

We will be posting pics soon of all the labels but here is a peak of our new delivery Sture and Lisa (due this week).

Australia Day Long Weekend

Australia Day and weekend was spent down the coast as we have our Little H starting school tomorrow and we wanted to enjoy the weekend not doing much.

As always, it was lazy, quiet and lots of fun. The kids love the space, playing outside, either at the beach or in the backyard.... they don't seem to play the same in Sydney.

Good friends stayed as well and we chatted, laughed, read, ate and enjoyed a few drinks.

We are home now. The school bag is packed, his uniform is out and we are ready for the '1st day'.

dinner parties...

While on holidays we decided to have a dinner party for New Years Eve... summer style in the backyard!

The weather was gorgeous, friends arrived for the day, kids played happily after a day at the beach and late afternoon was spent frocking up and getting the food prepped.

We deliberately didn't sit down until the kids went to bed so though we ate late, it made all the difference.

It was a beautiful night by candlelight, spent with friends. And made all the more special with that little bit more effort.

The table setting was quite simple - old pasta jars filled with candles, an old (but loved) doily tablecloth, a few nectar jars filled with flowers, paper napkins wrapped around the cutlery with twine and a shipping tag and the new pots I bought from the Shady Fig.

Dinner parties, we need to have more of them! xx
