Until you go thru it yourself, i don't think anyone truly understands the term 'potty training'.... at least i certainly didnt..
Its a joy to see the triumphant look upon your child's face when the 1st wee or poo arrives in the potty..... the look and word's of "i'm a big boy now' is something i will treasure (and wish i could bottle) forever....but...... the aftermath of those moments has got me speechless.
Cleaning out the potty (to put it in kiddy terms) is just plain 'yucky'! and one of the yuckiest things ive had to do as a parent... all with a smile on my face as if its the most natural thing in the world for mummy!
I would love to hear from you if there are any tips out there... im only at day 4!!

Sorry Stav I have no advice. Do let us know how it goes though. We are approaching toilet training with my oldest and so far he does not seem at all interested.
Might be a bit late, but a little trick I do is as your empting the potty into the toilet, flush and catch the water with the potty rinsing it out as you flush, if that makes sence? Good luck with it any how!
