lunchtime!

With parties on every weekend, I couldn't resist getting these fab sandwich cutters for the store. Its an inexpensive way of decorating the food table and they are large so your not wasting too much bread (i've used cookie cutters before and it can be a hassle!). The daisy and hearts are fab for little girls tea parties and the boys train and dinosaur will help any little boy eat their lunch!

They are stainless steel construction with moulded plastic top, which allows for little helpers to press down on the cutter and each shape is packaged in its own plastic storage box. The cutters are much deeper too than normal cookie cutters so they can easily cut through two slices of bread with fillings.

Rrp $14 per design and available instore and online. yay! xx

my little h is now 4

What a weekend! My Little h is no longer so little and just turned 4. His latest superhero obsession was the theme of his birthday party and we had lots of fun yesterday playing it up.

The kids were dressed, superman came and we had a ball.

We hired red and blue Munchkin table and chairs and were so happy with them. The kids sat often, were comfortable and they looked so good! I'd definitely recommend them.

I had a lot of fun with the theme, I kept the colours really tight and found great vintage Marvel Playing Cards on Etsy which I used for the lollybags and placemats. I tried to keep it more vintage marvel comics than the modern superhero squad (mums out there with boys will understand!).. Quite funny though, after all the effort, Little H decided to be a Ninja turtle cause 'they are superhero's too u know!".

Little H was so pooped by the end of the day that he asked everyone to go home so that he could go to bed at 6pm - maybe not so big after all.......

Happy Birthday Buddy xx

back on track..

There will be those that understand the anxiety and stress I felt when I lost my pc to a hot cup of tea a few weeks ago. Silly me was balancing the laptop on my lap in front of the telly when hubby passed me a lovely hot cup of tea and it happened, my hand got the wobbles!

The tea splashed, there were a few swear words and unfortunately the pc did not survive and drowned.

Its been a hectic few weeks trying to retrieve back information, losing all my files, contacts, emails, and being offline for about 2 weeks!!  Wow-wee you take all of it for granted until something like this happens..

There is some good news that came from this experience, I finally succumbed and switched to a Mac... a little scary as I loved my pc but also very exciting! Every day I'm learning something new, almost like a little kid back at school.. Will keep you posted with my ups and downs and please, if you have any favourite mac tips or hints, send them thru!
